We’ve launched a new API parameter that enables users to generate and launch an employee-specific view of the Company-Defined Attributes Component. This allows partners who work with very large employers to view this component for one employee at a time, which will be more performant and better suit the needs of an employer-focused workflow.

We’ve launched two exciting additions to the External Payroll API this week:

1. Partners can now upload historical payroll data from prior years using the External Payroll API! This feature should be especially helpful for partners that are migrating payroll businesses onto Check from in-house solutions or other embedded providers.
2. We’ve added two new fields to the External Payroll API: taxable_wages and gross_taxable_wages. This will enable customers who know the taxable wages for historical payrolls to upload those directly to Check via API during the setup process. It will also allow customers who want to see the taxable wages that Check has calculated on historical payrolls to view those via the API.

Today we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Activity Logs in Console. You can find it under Settings → Activity Logs, and is currently only accessible to the Admin user type. Here you’ll be able to find actions taken by your team members in Console, and you can also filter by path, user, request method, and more.
