Async Payroll API Launch
We’re thrilled to announce that we have increased the number of payees supported per payroll run through a new version of the Check API, which enables the ability to preview payrolls asynchronously.
With the Async Payroll API, payrolls with up to 1,500 payroll items and contractor payments can be created, previewed, and approved. This is an increase from our previous limit of 500 payroll items and contractor payments.
Check out the new Payroll Preview and Approval guide for more information and examples about how to integrate with async preview, and our API changelog for a full list of changes that were included in this new API version.

Support for Agriculture Businesses
This month, we released an updated set of setup parameters that will allow agriculture employers to be created and set up to run payroll in all 50 states! These include whether the employer is an agriculture employer, whether the employer needs to file Form 941 or Form 943, and whether each employee is an H-2A worker or agriculture worker.
Existing live employers will be able to see these parameters in Tax Setup and in Tax Parameters API, but they will have values pre-populated and should not see any impact on their Onboard status.
